A SCARY MOVIE by Sergio Oksman
Pressbook Teaser 1
During the summer vacations, a documentary filmmaker and his 12-year-old son stay in an abandoned hotel in Lisbon: an empty hotel like the one in the movie The Shining. The boy is haunted by stories of monsters and ghosts. But during their stay in Lisbon, other ghosts emerge: that of the first Portuguese serial killer and that of men who suddenly go berserk and abandon their families.

"Breathing humanity and cinephilia" - Fernando Bernal OTROS CINES EUROPA
"a magnificently formed film, where the ephemeral and the eternal come together in an exquisite combination" - Mariana Hristova CINEUROPA
"If A Scary Movie is a splendid film, it is because it leaves all those obviousness aside to become the impossible possibility of fiction. Or the possible impossibility of filming fiction today, a solid and compelling story." - Carlos Losilla CAIMAN CUADERNOS DE CINE
"Sergio Oksman has created a complex, thoughtful film about the power of memory and the ghosts of the past – a quiet film that lingers in the viewer's mind long after the credits roll." - Rouven Linnarz FILM-REZENSIONEN.DE
